Measurements

I've started using measurements rather than weight as my primary tracker for weight loss. I'm doing strength training as well as cardio, so my weight doesn't directly reflect how much fat I've lost.

Here is how I measure my body:


So any measurements you see on this blog will be labeled like and based on this picture. And just so you can see how far I've come at any given moment, here are my starting measurements (as in, when I started measuring, not when I started being healthy).

Neck: 15.25 in
Shoulders: 50.75 in
Chest: 47 in
Waist: 43 in
Hips: 51 in
Bicep: 15.5 in
Leg: 30 in
Calf: 21.5 in

As you can see, I am quite proportional, but also big. Everyone starts somewhere, so if you want to know where I started here you go! I will be measuring myself every other Sunday.
